Vineyards
Revana Estate produces wines from unique and expressive sites throughout Napa Valley, including its Estate vineyard just north of St. Helena.
Our vineyard sites include five of Napa Valley’s sub-appellations: St. Helena, Howell Mountain, Stags Leap, Oakville, and Rutherford, which drive our diverse portfolio of wines representing their special place.
Revana Estate Vineyard
Ideally suited for Cabernet Sauvignon, and farmed organically, the Revana Estate Vineyard is located in St. Helena. Framed by the Mayacamas and Vaca mountains, this northern part of Napa is the narrowest stretch of the valley. Over millions of years, hillside erosion from the surrounding mountains has provided an optimal mixture of gravel and sand resulting in the deep, well-drained alluvial soil that makes up the Revana Estate.
This section of the upper valley benefits from more moderate temperatures, a combination of warm days and cool nights. Without the foggy mornings found in the lower valley or the extreme heat of Calistoga to the north, the climate provides perfect growing conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon.

Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard
Originally planted in 1863 by H.W. Crabb, Napa Valley’s iconic ‘Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard’ sits on Oakville’s western bench.
In 1993, Napa Valley luminary Andy Beckstoffer purchased this hallowed ground from Beaulieu Vineyards and began replanting Cabernet Sauvignon with modern trellising and closer spacing atop its gravelly, well-drained soils, notorious for producing tiny berries containing an unexplainable magic. Andy Beckstoffer allocates vineyard blocks to a small group of notable wineries each harvest.
Revana Estate produced its first vintage of Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon in 2021 with an extremely limited bottling from the C1 Block that earned a 97-point score from Jeb Dunnuck.
We are honored to work with one of the world’s most treasured vineyards and include Beckstoffer To Kalon in our vineyard-specific portfolio of award-winning wines.
AVA: Oakville
Weitz Vineyard
Perched atop the Oakville bench overlooking the Napa Valley below is the Weitz Vineyard. Once home to the Weitz family homestead and cattle ranch, this remarkable site rests a steep hillside covered in a vibrant orange volcanic soil and fractured basalt boulders.
Access to this vineyard is notoriously rare, and in 2021, Revana Estate was fortunate to produce a very limited bottling from the rows of vines in a one-acre block planted in 1994. 2021 Revana Estate Weitz Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon (96 points, Jeb Dunnuck) captures the minerally elegance and aromatic intensity of these steep slopes on the Oakville bench.
We are honored include the prestigious Weitz Vineyard in our vineyard-specific portfolio of Cabernet Sauvignon wines.

Cold Springs Vineyard
Undoubtedly one of the hidden gems on Howell Mountain, the 23-acre Cold Springs Vineyard is the realization of grower Marc Mondavi’s dream to create an iconic vineyard on Howell Mountain’s volcanic soils. Teaming up with his longtime friend, Jim Barbour, they developed a site producing wines of great complexity and character.
Located above the fog line with a southwest exposure, the rocky topsoil is made up of red and brown loam with pockets of iron-rich volcanic ash, limestone and rhyolite. This intricate mixture of soils produces Cabernet Sauvignon grapes with exquisite complexity and flavor.

Steltzner Vineyard
Steltzner Vineyard is located at the base of Napa Valley’s Eastern slopes, tucked just below the Stags Leap Palisades. Planted in 1964, it is one of the original Stags Leap vineyards, prized for its exceptional union of soil, temperature, and geography.
The Revana Stags Leap Cabernet is sourced from the oldest vines on property, which are rooted in the rockiest and most arid soils of the vineyard. Rich and distinctive, the Cabernet grapes harvested from these matured vines beautifully showcases the power and finesse that comes from the Stags Leap.

Round Pond Vineyard
The Round Pond Estate is situated in the heart of Rutherford, California, an appellation that has been famous for its world-class red wines for more than a century. The property spans 362 acres of planted vineyards, including our Red Barn Ranch, Hill’s Vineyard, M-Bar Ranch, Round Pond Vineyard and MacDonnell Vineyards. To maintain the integrity of the land and to ensure its continuing bounty for generations to come, they use only sustainable farming practices in our viticulture program.
Offering a unique mix of microclimate and soil composition, Rutherford has proven ideal for the cultivation of Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as premium Italian and Spanish olives. Offering abundant sunshine, warm daytime temperatures and only moderate cooling influences, Rutherford yields fruit with ripe, robust character. Adding to this character is Rutherford’s unique alluvial soils deposited over millennia by the Napa and Russian rivers as well as the Conn Creek. These vibrant and diverse soils add to the region’s rich palette of flavors.
